Welcome to our DISCOVERY TIME PRESCHOOL Blog! I am so excited to be teaching preschool. I am a CERTIFIED TEACHER with a current UTAH TEACHING LICENSE. I received my DEGREE IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION from UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY. I have a fun and educational curriculum planned that will include: THE ALPHABET, WRITING, LETTER SOUNDS, MATH, SCIENCE, MUSIC and MANY OTHER FUN THEMES throughout the year. I hope you will be able to come and discover how much fun learning can be with us!

3 Year Old Curriculum

My 3 year old class is always a lot of fun!  This is a great age for children to  learn how to interact with one another. We learn about letters and numbers and focus on being able to identify and name each letter of the alphabet and their sound.  We discover a new letter each week as we incorporate fun activities and themes such as: colors, feelings, I am special, fairy tales, seasons, manners, transportation, community helpers, air, animals, bugs and  many more! We will work on simple math skills such as shapes and recognizing numbers. These are just a few of the many fun things that the 3 year old class will be able to discover throughout the year!

* Children must be 3 years old by Sept.1 and fully potty-trained
*There will be 10 students maximum in this class
